Golf Course
Our 18-hole golf course offers a challenge for players of all abilities. At 6,456 yards, distance is not the key to success on our golf course. However, accuracy is a must as water hazards and out-of-bounds effect play on 16 of the 18 holes. Par is 72 for the men and 73 for the women.
Bill Wintz, our Grounds Superintendent, and his grounds crew maintain and groom the golf course and club property. Always in good condition, the golf course offers several panoramic views of the mountains and the surrounding area.
Golf programs for men, women, junior and senior golfers are offered and supervised by David Sikora, our Head Golf Professional and his staff. An extensive tournament program, as well as golf instruction, is also available throughout the season.
We have a fleet of 57 gasoline powered golf carts that are available on a rental basis. Appropriate fees are posted in the Pro Shop. Because Waynesboro Country Club is a private club, daily fees for non-members are not acceptable. Non-members who live in Waynesboro and the surrounding counties and cities are permitted to play once a year. These non-member fees are posted in the Pro Shop.
New golfing members must attend an orientation session with a golf professional prior to their first round of golf. Arrangements can be made for this session by calling the Pro Shop at 942-9340 and speaking directly with the professional. .
